Writing on Greece’s relationship with Russia, The Guardian’s Natalie Nougayrede comments: “Russia is a player that cannot be ignored across many international fields, from the Middle East to nuclear proliferation and even climate change. It attacked Ukraine and trampled on a half-dozen treaties and rules that uphold the post-1945 European security order …” World turned upside down, but no one in mainstream-fantasy-land bats an eyelid because it’s the same everywhere you look, no evidence is needed: “They’re bad guys, they do bad stuff, Fear Them!” end of story, (until the same message is repeated tomorrow). We highlighted on this site exactly the same build-up of one-sided propagandistic vilification in the run-up to the aborted full-scale invasion of Syria in August 2013, just as before every war.
